GENERAL INFORMATION –
Headquarters
Forbes Hall (the former Princeton Inn)
79 Alexander St, Princeton
All formal Class activities will be held at Forbes, such as a Class Forum after Friday lunch, immediately followed by the Memorial, and a Class Meeting and election of officers at Friday dinner.
Check-in
From 12 PM on Thursday 5/22 at Forbes lobby, where you will be given a wristband to wear the whole time. It has electronic data about which meals you have signed up for.
Parking
There is absolutely no parking at Forbes. However, it is located across the street from the Princeton Dinky Station to which all the shuttle buses from hotels come.
If you drive, the University offers parking south of the main campus near the new sports fields. Transportation from there back to the Dinky stop is available. More information is available at reunions.princeton.edu. Click on RESOURCES and select Parking & Transportation for a map showing locations of guest parking.
Meals
All meals, starting with an informal dinner on Thursday 5/22 and ending with brunch on Sunday 5/25, will be at Forbes. Many will be shared outside in the big tent with the Old Guard which also uses Forbes for its reunions.
P-Rade
Saturday afternoon as always. The university provides buses to take classmates from Forbes to the beginning of the P-Rade and carts to take them back to Forbes at the end.
Rental Carts
Carts for personal use can be rented by Classmates with mobility impairments, medical conditions, or permanent disability. Rental information will be available in mid-March 2025.
Housing
You have already received Evan Bush's questionnaire about this, and further information is included with your paper form. The Class has some rooms in Forbes itself, but classmates with mobility issues or other health problems will be given priority for them. If rooms are still available after that, a lottery for them will be held.
Some rooms are also available in the Princeton Theological Seminary and the class has reserved a block of rooms at Hilton Doubletree on Route 1, as also shown.
Cancellation Policy
The Class has a “NO PENALTY” cancellation policy. However, if the Class incurs cost for meals that cannot be canceled or for merchandise already ordered and paid, such costs will be deducted from the refund. We do ask that any cancellation be made reasonably and for good cause. Contact or Reunion Treasurer, Frank Montgomery at 206-353-3132 or frank.montgomery@comcast.net regarding a refund.
Reunion Attendance Assistance
Attending Reunions is a substantial expense, especially for those traveling long distance. There is a modest Class fund to assist Classmates financially unable to attend Reunions. If you want to attend the 65th or if you know a Classmate who would be able to attend with financial assistance, please contact Andy Prindl at aprindl@icloud.com . All conversations are strictly confidential.
Family members attending Reunions
Alumni family members celebrating a major reunion should register with their class; alumni family members not celebrating a major should use the satellite reunion registration form (available on reunions.princeton.edu in early March). If you wish to include your alumni family members in meals, you can purchase meal tickets for them when you check-in at our headquarters site. Other family members (adult or under 21) should be added to your registration as your guests. The wristband that they receive at check-in will be coded to allow meal service with the Class of 1960.
